The news that Boris has been voted Mayor of London is one that pleases me no end. Not because I'm a Tory. Not because I vote Labour. No, as a non-London dweller, this has to be the best election vote EVER!!
He is such a buffoon, but living outside London, I don't care. I may start a thread of Boris-isms!! He is a complete halfwit - surely that could be a Boris-ism - but he will be absolutely first class entertainment. He is the prince Phillip of the political world. Words like picaninny and calling the scousers a group who love to wallow in tragedy augers well for a non stop stream of quotes and funnies that can be added to the blog!!
Politics, and especially politicians, is not the most interesting topic usually, and certainly not something to celebrate or talk of in any other mode than moaning and complaining - hey, you've read my rants, and they are the water cress of the ice berg!! - but now it is all gonna change. Hey, he literally stumbled into office, so roll on the good times, the funny politics, the humour and positivity of being able to smile when talking about politics.
To any cockneys reading, if you weren't cockneys you would have my sympathy, but fuck it, you've had the advantages and favours for long enough. Its our turn to laugh at you now.
