So, girls and boys, another week has passed and no comments from me, its hard having the discipline to keep no one up to speed in my angry life!!! lol

Only a couple of weeks now until the smoke beckons, with all its vices and pleasures, and of course, 2 Marc Almond shows. Am so excited, my pants are moist already!! The opportunity to experience genius is one that everybody should do once in their lifetime, and I'm lucky enough to be doing it twice in one weekend. Probably my reward for putting up with the rest of the shit life offers!!

So, whats been happening in the world since last week? Well, a member of far removed family was burried in Sheffield, losing his life in Afghanistan serving queen and country. Don't know him, never met him, but big respect to him. And big shame on the disgrace of a government, because, as is all too depressingly common, he hadn't been given the correct equipment. Same day, an Iraqi boy gets £2m because someone accidently dropped a gun which went off and shot him. Compensation for our soldiers is around 10% of that. Absolutely disgraceful. Our politicians should be hung in Wembley Stadium before the cup final. But don't get me started............!!

Making a whole host of curries tonight for a curry night - you don't say!! - and we are having friends over. He writes scripts for a very well known soap, though I never watch it. Although, sometime soon - or sometime recently gone - my name will appear as a surveyor or summat. I just hope Jack gets to say my name!!

Back to the curries, the menu will consist of the following cullinary delights...

STARTERS.......... poppadoms, pickle tray, onion bhajis, creamy mushroom and courgette curry, spicy fish fillets

MAINS................ dhall madras, mixed vegetable bhaji, fiery spicy beef curry, chicken kahari, pilau rice, basmatti rice, lime and corriander rice, chappattis, garlic naan, plain naan

SWEETS.............. mango kulfi, strawberry cheescake

SUNDRIES.......... lots of lager!!!
